Suji Haluwa
Suji Haluwa is a popular and good recipe. Suji Halua is one kind of cooking recipe. Suji haluwa is very delicious recipe. It is prepared at home. Everybody likes this recipe. It is particularly suitable for the children. Sometimes it is good recipe for the patients. Its nutrition facts are high. It contains plenty of carbohydrates. I like cooking recipes. So I am very much interested to cook this recipe. Some ingredients are needed for preparing this recipe. The cooking process is given below;
1 cup suji
1/3 cup ghee
3 cardamoms
2 sticks 2.5 cm piece cinnamon
1 cup sugar
3 cups water
1. In a pan with a handle melt the ghee. Add the suji(semolina), stir and fry over low heat until light brown.
2. Add the water and stir quickly. Keep on stirring over moderate heat for 30 seconds. Add the sugar.
3. Stir and fry for 30 seconds. Add 1 tablespoon raisins(optional). Remove from heat. Transfer in a shallow dish.
Serve at breakfast. 6 servings.
